Use your words Chloe

My co-worker, Karen, recently said that I need to use my words when dealing with customers. The other day we had some kids running through the museum yelling and screaming. Karen found the parents and politely and calmly diffused the situation. Karen is very good at customer service. She came by and told us how she handled things. I replied that I would have gone up to the kids and said something along the lines of, “Do you want me to give you guys something to really scream about?” I think my words would have been effective. After all, pulling out your glock sends the message real quick that you mean business, but I suppose guns will never be considered appropriate when working at a children’s museum.
