Since today is Valentine’s Day and I have no one to celebrate with, I naturally had to ask myself “What would Joan Crawford do?” Well, first of all, she would never let herself approach any major holiday without a boyfriend/husband/significant other in tow. And I believe that may have had something to do with her dance moves in her early years. As a young gal, Joan enjoyed doing a dance called the Black Bottom. What’s more, she preferred doing this dance on tables without underwear. OK, c’mon Joan. That’s pretty skanky even by today’s standards. Although that’s also probably why I’m alone on Valentine’s Day.
