Here’s an interesting dilemma: there’s a dance coming up later this month called the Cinderella Ball. It’s going to be a really fancy dress-up kind of dance where the guys wear tuxes and the ladies wear ballgowns. Anyone who knows me knows that I always look for any excuse to dress up or wear costumes, but I don’t have anything to wear for this occasion. My first instinct was to rip down my curtains and make a dress from those, but that seemed too Scarlett O’Hara. I really don’t know what Joan Crawford would do in this situation. It seems like she would just go to Mr. Mayer (one of the owners of MGM) and ask for a ballgown. So if anyone has any suggestions, or an extra ballgown lying around, please let me know. whatwouldjoando@gmail.com
